I am a board certified pediatrician practicing for the past 13 years. Over the course of my practice in the USA I have been challenged by the dietary issues in my practice. From infants to young adults. Constantly facing many questions of parents. "Is this healthy?" "What should he eat for his high cholesterol?" "My kid won't eat breakfast!" I spend alot of time in a visit outlining portion sizes, healthy diets, allergy causing foods, and even ideas for quick and easy meals. With rates of obesity rising in our children in the US, I decided to share some of my advice in a more easily accessible form with the most up-to-date information.
Combination of two things:
my love of creating new food dishes that would not irritate my stomach, and the need to help parents and patients find satisfaction in healthy eating leading to better health outcomes.
Food is tasty. And eating should be thrilling as well as healthy.
